Born and raised in Windhoek, I later studied in Stellenbosch before returning to Namibia in 2010 – drawn by the freedom and vast open landscapes. I’m passionate about nature, travel, and camping. Since 2018, I’ve been a managing partner at AfriCar, proud to help travelers explore Southern Africa with a partner they can rely on.
Hilke Sauber

Born in South Africa, I spent my childhood between there and Namibia, growing up surrounded by the bush. During my studies, I met my Namibian husband, and after a few years living in Nigeria, we returned to Namibia in 2017 and took over AfriCar – a major milestone in our entrepreneurial journey. Today, I combine my passion for travel with our shared goal of offering guests an authentic Namibian experience.

Born in Cape Town and raised in Namibia, my childhood was shaped by both town life and the countryside – instilling a love for nature, travel, and adventure. I started my career at Toyota and later worked at MAN, where I gained deeper technical insights. Since July 2022, I’ve been part of the AfriCar team, passionate about sharing my love for Namibia with our guests. I’m married, a proud mother of two, and enjoy exploring the outdoors with my family.

I’m Robbie and joined the AfriCar team in 2024 with over 25 years of experience in Namibia’s car rental industry. I’m passionate about 4x4 vehicles, camping, and exploring Namibia’s vast landscapes. With deep knowledge of our Toyota fleet and camping equipment, I ensure vehicles are reliable, clean, and road-ready. I’m a husband, father of two, and proud grandfather. Integrity, reliability, and quality matter deeply to me – both in work and in life. With strong team support, I’m here to assist guests personally, offering tips, experience, and 24-hour backup.

Born in Outapi and raised in Windhoek, I combine strong leadership with a team-first mindset. Off the clock, I enjoy playing soccer and am known for my Özil-like style on the field — creative, smart, and composed.

I am Temus born in Angola but grew up in Namibia/Windhoek. I started working for Africar in 2018 as a fleet coordinator, now I am the fleet manager responsible for maintenance and quality checks. When I grew up I was a football fan and a player as well, my dream was to play for bigger leagues in the world but due to injuries I couldn’t fulfill my dream. What I like about my work is chatting to clients and explaining vehicles to them. My hobbies are fishing and watching football, I’m a big Arsenal fan hopefully one day I will fly to London to go watch them play.
